UV Transmittance and Blocking
  • UV Transmittance
    • PMMA is a transparent material that stays weather resistant under prolonged UV ray exposure. PMMA products for outdoor application come with a trace of UV stabilizer for boosted weather resistance.
    • A UV stabilizer-free version is available for applications requiring UV transmittance, and provides high transmittance of UV rays and visible light.
    Applications : UV lamp lenses, greenhouse lighting, insect trap lamps
  • UV Blocking
    • PMMA is a transparent material that stays weather resistant under prolonged UV ray exposure.
    • PMMA sheets are available in a UV-blocking version also, and are ideal for protecting the surface materials underneath their installation. Blocks UV rays by up to 380nm.
    Applications: Retroreflective films, display covers (museums, art galleries)
